The Jeremy Fisher design is by Emma Noble while the obverse side’s presentation of the fifth definitive portrait of HM Queen Elizabeth II is by Jody Clark. The accompanying fold-out case adds colour illustrations and additional details from Beatrix’s eighth story. The coin’s Brilliant Uncirculated finish highlights the details of Beatrix’s illustration, from the subtle texture of the skin to the creases in the Macintosh that nearly was eaten by the trout. For this second series release of the popular coins, the new characters include Mr Jeremy Fisher, the frog from Beatrix’s story, ’The Tale of Mr Jeremy Fisher.’ The accident-prone frog meets a series of mishaps that ultimately cause him to lose his fishing equipment and therefore, serve his friends a grasshopper instead of the minnows he wanted.
